Mountain Biking with Val has been an amazing new sport for our 11 year old son. Val’s ability to meet each rider at their skill level, while giving them the confidence to try new things and step out of their comfort zone, is a gift. She is patient, fun, always in control and allows these kids to explore nature and what it means to be a part of a team. Our son finishes each class with a greater understanding of how to take care of himself, his teammates, and the trails. He rolls in from his ride dirty, sweaty, and with breathless smiles and laughs. We are so grateful for this program.

Mountain biking with Val was excellent for our 13 year old son. She did an initial assessment with him to make sure he was grouped at a level that would provide success. The group had a great camaraderie, encouraged one another, learned to advance their biking skills and had fun. This is all because of the atmosphere that Val facilitates.
